iSCSI – when it gets crouded

итак, после какого-то времени использования iSCSI произошло закономерное: некоторые диски заполнились.
К счастью, диски были созданы через lvm, так что расширение их было делом пары команд:
1) отмонтируем файловую систему на инициаторе ("клиенте"):
umount /path/to/mountpoint
2) тормозим демон iscsi на клиенте:
/etc/init.d/iscsi stop
3) находим ID и LUN для интересующего нас диска на таргете ("сервер"):
tgtadm --op show --mode target
вывод примерно такой:
Target 2: iqn.2013-01.net.test:nas.jekader

здесь нас интересуют строки Target 2 и LUN: 2

3) отключаем расшаренный диск, указав его ID и LUN,

LVM-based RAID0

Recently I decided to experiment with more "advanced" LVM features, such as creating a logical volume on multiple physical ones. Here I'll tell you the steps necessary to create a RAID0 (stripe) array on 4 hard drives: sdb sdc sdd sde, 500GB each.
